Inside Casa Ferrari: the most exclusive trackside experience in Australian Formula 1

There are VIP areas, VVIP areas, and then there’s Casa Ferrari. It’s Ferrari’s invitation-only suite at the 2025 Melbourne Grand Prix. Come take a look behind the velvet rope, won’t you?

Casa Ferrari isn’t just about proximity to the track. It’s a masterclass in style, curation, and control. Much like a Formula 1 car, in its own way.

It’s tucked away in a discreet location beside the famed Albert Park’s paddock. And it’s a space you can’t even buy your way into. Seriously. If you’re not on the list, you’re not getting in.

For the lucky few who do make the cut, Casa Ferrari offers something rare in the frenzy of race weekend: a kind of stillness. The stillness of tailored Italian design as far as the eye can see. A soundtrack of fine stemware and Negronis being poured at 10am. Even a sense of stillness in the view, which captures the cars as they whiz around the track without you ever feeling like you’re too close to the hustle and bustle of race weekend in Melbourne.

What is Casa Ferrari?

Launched globally in 2018 and now back in Melbourne for 2025, Casa Ferrari is a slice of Maranello luxury in Melbourne. Inside you’ll find proper Ferrari VIPs, owners, and select media during the Grand Prix. It’s more than the traditional Paddock Club experience. It’s more private, more polished and more intimate.

There’s no trackside table seating. No booming basslines. Just curated food and drinks, low-slung lounges, and a kind of quiet luxury that lets you forget you’re at a festival of noise and speed.

This year, Casa Ferrari has been reimagined. There are new touches inspired by Ferrari’s Tailor Made program. Warm leathers, moody lighting, and materials pulled straight from the interior of custom Ferrari supercars like the SF90. There’s even a bespoke scent in the suite. Believe it.

Casa Ferrari is strictly invite-only, and that’s not just PR spin. It’s for the Ferrari elite. The company’s most loyal owners, big global clients, and senior team members—not to mention a few low-key celebrity friends of the brand.

Access to Casa Ferrari comes with a Paddock Club Pass – if you feel like slumming it – but the real perk is the ability to escape it all. To sip coffee or Champagne next to an F1 team principal without a single camera in sight.

Casa Ferrari isn’t the only perk Australian Ferrari owners (or potential owners) are treated to. I snuck onto a private test weekend where new and existing Ferrari owners were taken in a fleet of supercars on a truly luxurious country NSW road trip.
